The Work that Reconnects was originally developed by Deep Ecologist and Buddhist philosopher Joanna Macy. It addresses the confusions experienced by individuals and organisations when they become aware of the simultaneous realities of planetary perils and commercial or financial necessity. Workshops can be from 3 hours to 3 days long. The shorter workshops are both experiential and an introduction to the concepts, whereas the longer workshops offer more depth and more experiential exercises to further reinforce the learnings.

Benefits of The Work that Reconnects Workshops:
  • Identifying and acknowledging the huge range of responses to the unique combination of environmental, economic, political, social and cultural conditions of this age.
  • Learning ways to work creatively with these responses, both individually and as groups.
  • Creating richer, deeper, more effective teams.
  • Addressing next steps -- identifying achievable goals and using techniques for reaching these goals.
